Bunch of pictures

Well hello!
It has been while (a huge while) since I wrote last time. I need to say: time is just flying by! I can't believe that I have been here already for three months. I am still really happy I made a choice to be an exchange student. I have had so much fun and good new experiences. I decided to share some pictures from past few months because one picture tells more than thousand words...

Bobbing for apples
Germans + two Scandinavians

Our school got some guests from Germany for two weeks and my family was hosting two of them, Henrike and Time. We were able to participate their program every now and then. Together we went bowling, to haunted hayride and haunted house and had a nice bonfire and some games like bobbing for apples and baseball. We had pretty much fun!! During their visit we had two field trips from school. One to Amish community and other one to Holocaust museum. I enjoyed both. We had a dinner in Amish home and were able to learn something about their culture. In the museum there was woman who had survived from holocaust and she told her story to us. That was really eyeopening and I learned a lot!

Sooo many good memories
Good day with my team
SWIAC all conference banquet
I am finally realizing that cross country season is now over. I had so good time and we made so many unforgetable memories that it was sad to be ready with all those races. But now basketball season has started. I play mostly junior varsity because I have no experience but I hope I can improve so much that I can help also varsity. We have had one jv game this far and I really enjoyed it even though we lost by a lot. I think it didn't last long enough. I would have been ready to play an other one haha! I am so excited about our next game which is today.

Listening to the National anthem
Last week I had also birthday and we celebrated it twice with my family. First at grandma's on Sunday dinner when it was also grandpa's birthday and then at home in the real day. We also went to lazer tagging with two of my brothers, their friend and my sister. It was sooo fun, I recommend ;)

Birthday cupcakes... yumm

I love my Norwegian sister!
Trick or treat?
And yeah! It was Halloween and we really went trick or treating. Probably someone asked if we are too old for that but we had fun :D It was cold night and wind was freezing but my choice for outfit was perfect - that camouflage thing was pretty warm!

It snowing here now. Turned from warm fall weather to this winter weather quite quick... Just waiting to be able to go sledding and build a snowman lol!!
